The reason people say this is because most people can only type 30 wpm and that means a 300 word article takes 10-minutes without any editing time, which generally takes over 5-minutes, equally in 15-minutes total and that folks is 4 per hour not 6 and even that is no walk in the park for hours on end.

Should Online Article Submission Websites have a grading system for the quality of articles that are submitted? Should some authors go for volume and if they do does that mean they should use a stop watch to insure their speed? Some are concerned about this, especially lower quantity and better quality authors. Is it possible to write 300 word articles in 10-15 minutes?
