Does your article or copy writing truly talk to your reader? Editors constantly whine for tight, coherent writing that gets to the point in an engaging way for the reader. You’ve done your research, gathered relevant quotes from authorities, corrected typos, grammar bloopers and misspellings, checked your references and used one of your best-producing writing templates to come up with a gem of a piece. But wait. Before any more queries head out, are you sure you don’t need to add just an extra bit of “oomph” to that piece to really “get it over the top?”

I’ll tell you, I’ve heard every excuse, misconception, and myth about why people can’t profit from article marketing. To tell you the honest-to-God truth, they’re all myths! Lies even! The bottom line is article marketing has never been more effective. A lot of the people who are promoting these myths just don’t want to put in the small amount of work (yes there is a bit of work involved) necessary to excel in and get all of the benefits of article marketing. And believe me, the benefits are many.

A recent chat with a friend reminded me of a copy writing lesson I learned long ago, in a place far-far way (Philly): Never insult your audience. Easier said than done? Perhaps. We know there’s a fine line between insulting your audience and completely alienating them. Thank God there’s a solution.
